Description
A beautifully preserved Royal Doulton Minden dinner service in the much-loved D5334 pattern.
Introduced in 1933, Minden remained in production until the late 1950s and has become one of Royal Doulton’s most recognisable floral tableware patterns. Soft ivory earthenware provides the backdrop for cheerful hand-finished floral sprays in shades of blue, yellow, pink and green, finished with a delicate red line around the rim.
The gently scalloped edges give each piece an elegant profile while remaining practical enough for everyday dining. Today, complete matching services are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly with both serving bowls and original platters still together.
Whether used for family meals, summer lunches in the garden or displayed on an antique dresser, this service brings warmth, colour and timeless English character to the table.
The service comprises:
- 7 Dinner Plates
- 6 Medium Plates (luncheon/salad plates)
- 5 Side Plates (tea/dessert plates)
- 1 Deep Serving Bowl
- 1 Shallow Pierced-Handle Serving Bowl
- 2 Oval Serving Platters (one medium, one large)
