Crafted in clear pressed glass with distinctive horizontal ribbing, these pieces beautifully echo the iconic coiled shape of straw skeps, which have been used for housing bees for centuries. Their form reflects the long-standing cultural association between the beehive and domestic industry, productivity, and rural life.

Each jar features a wire hanging handle and a fitted glass stopper. The internal funnel-like opening and three small feet suggest these were originally designed as bee or insect traps, or possibly as apiary-related vessels rather than purely tableware honey pots.
