This striking antique bowl by Grimwades, Stoke-on-Trent, England, is a superb example of early 20th-century Byzanta Ware ceramic artistry. Made with a vivid orange lustre glaze and rich decorative detailing, the interior of the bowl features an ornate hand-painted floral motif in deep emerald green, ivory, and black, framed by a gold edge that beautifully contrasts the exterior’s mottled ochre-orange tone.
