Supplied by Dynon Son & Co. of Sydney and Melbourne, this piece was manufactured in England and exported to Australia—likely for affluent colonial households in the late 19th or early 20th century.
Decorated in a delicate blue floral band with geometric lace detail on clean white porcelain, this lidded tureen is a fine example of Royal Worcester’s refined aesthetic. The twin handles are sculpted in a foliate motif, while the lid is domed with a scroll-form finial and a fitted slot for a serving ladle.
