Description
A delicately curved antique porcelain ladle, likely part of a Chinese export dinner service from the 19th century. The bowl is adorned with a soft blue transfer-printed rose motif, gently worn with time, while traces of gilding remain around the edge and along the length of the handle.
The underside of the handle features hand-painted gilt detailing, now beautifully faded in places. The overall condition shows age-appropriate wear and firing imperfections, including a small glaze flaw to the back and some minor losses to the gilding—evidence of its practical past.
A charming and functional decorative piece, perfect for display or styling with antique tableware.
