Description
A beautifully decorative vintage ceramic jug by Ridgway Potteries Ltd, one of Staffordshire’s most established and respected manufacturers.
This piece dates to the early mid-20th century and features a softly rounded body with a gently flared spout and elegant handle. The cream ground is decorated with a continuous band of colourful floral garlands – roses, daisies, and stylised blossoms – capturing the timeless charm of English country house design.
The scalloped rim is subtly accented with darker edging, adding texture and visual contrast. The form is both practical and decorative, making it ideal for use as a milk jug, small pitcher, or as a vase for fresh flowers.
Ridgway pottery has a long heritage dating back to the 18th century, producing a wide range of earthenware and china that balanced quality craftsmanship with accessible design for everyday use.
