About Alexandra Hunt
Hi, I’m Alex Hunt-Dallison – a self-confessed textile addict and experience junkie.
Having grown up in various parts of the world and travelled widely with my parents as a child, I was hooked at an early age by the colours, textures, and craftsmanship I encountered. That early exposure evolved into a lifelong passion for working with artisans and helping preserve traditional crafts by connecting them with new audiences and markets.
Textiles
I use both vintage and contemporary textiles from around the world to create soft furnishings that add depth and narrative to a space. I believe a cushion, throw, or fabric panel can carry history – and incorporating these pieces into interiors provides not just texture, but soul.
If the textiles are vintage, I ensure they are clean, structurally sound, and in good condition for their age. Minor imperfections are part of their story and charm.
Sometimes, to make the most of a particular fabric or motif, we cut non-standard sizes. This often means that our duck feather cushion pads are custom-made. While this may add to shipping costs, the uniqueness of the final product more than compensates.
We’re happy to offer alternative fillings for those with allergies or specific preferences – just let us know what you need. All of our soft furnishings are limited edition, and we don’t offer swatches. However, we’re always happy to work with designers and can send samples or collaborate on custom projects upon request.
Most of our pieces are suitable for use on sofas and beds, though occasionally, a textile may be too delicate for everyday use. If that’s the case, we clearly note it in the product description. If you’re planning to use one of our items in a high-traffic or commercial space, feel free to reach out and ask us about its durability.
Jewellery
Our jewellery is made using semi-precious stones, sterling silver, and 14K gold fill. Some pieces also incorporate vintage elements that lend character and individuality. While we take care to source high-quality vintage components in excellent condition, they do require extra care and cannot be guaranteed for long-term durability. We recommend avoiding exposure to perfumes, detergents, or water – especially for leather cuffs, which can change texture if wet.
